China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is an important opportunity for CICGF to attract buyers and exhibitors. At the 105th session of Canton Fair, CICGF organizing committee tried all possible means to carry out a series of promotion activities.
In the aspect of advertising, “little rattle-drum”, CICGF’s mascot, can be seen almost everywhere in Guangzhou downtown as well as at Canton Fair exhibition complex. 20 foreign-buyers-only buses with CICGF advertisements are shuttling frequently between major hotels and exhibition complex; 2-minute CICGF English publicity video with Chinese captions can be seen in 30 official shuttle buses for foreign buyers; 6 electric vehicles with CICGF advertisements and publicity materials added a conspicuous and impressive scenery to the splendor of the exhibition center; CICGF organizing committee also made advertisements in newspapers and publications, like Guangzhou Commercial Map, Canton Fair Catalogue, International Business Daily, and Economic Weekly. Besides, the “little rattle-drum” enjoyed an intensive focus from attendees; it appeared at lamp boxes, registration office, lampposts, exhibition complex entrances, overpasses and triangle towers, inviting guests from all over the world to come to Ningbo and attend CICGF.
In the aspect of publicity materials distribution, CICGF materials were available for business attendees at two distribution counters at the exhibition center and on the 6 electric vehicles.
Last but not least, staff members of marketing department of CICGF organizing committee paid visits to international souring groups and foreign exhibitors and their organizers, had discussions with their representatives, and invited them to attend CICGF.
