As the 8th CICGF approaches, the organizing committee has strengthened its efforts in propagating and attracting exhibitors and purchasers. Days ago, Ms. Yang Yiting, manager of government relations department of American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (Amcham Shanghai), together with another chamber officer, paid a visit to Ningbo, preparing to organize the chamber’s member enterprises to attend the 8th CICGF in June.
During their stay in Ningbo, Ms. Yang had a detailed discussion with leaders of CICGF organizing committee, and made tours to Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center and container berth of Beilun Port. They also had a dialogue with related department officers of Ningbo Economic and Technical Development Zone, and visited Prince Castle, Inc., Ningbo and the Dow Chemical wholly owned Zhejiang Pacific Chemical Co., Ltd, two US-invested companies within the development zone.
Ms. Yang said they would organize an Amcham delegation mainly composed of manufacturing companies,
small and medium-sized enterprises, and trade service enterprises to attend the 8
th CICGF. With CICGF serving as a platform, Ms. Yang believes that their member enterprises will have a better understanding of Ningbo. She also hopes that trade and business between the two sides will be enhanced, and exchange and cooperation in trade service aspects like investment and logistics will be strengthened.
Established in 1915, the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai is the largest American Chamber in the Asia Pacific region.
